Single status: Southampton care workers defy council bosses ban (Socialist Worker)
Council care workers in Southampton picketed six care homes as part of a three-day strike over proposed pay cuts from last Saturday. Some 240 Unison and T&G union members went on strike after the council threatened to sack all care workers on 18 February if they don t accept pay cuts.
