Home city honour for ‘Mr Judo’
A British judo master has been given a prestigious award for making an “outstanding contribution” to his home city. George Kerr, 73, was praised as a “good and beautiful person” as he picked up the Edinburgh Award, which honours people who have made a positive impact on the Scottish capital.
