Council push ahead with leisure price rise (ic Birmingham)
CITY leaders have refused to reconsider introducing a whopping 15 per cent hike in charges for the use of their municipal leisure empire. The inflation busting rises will see the price of a round of golf on a council course rise to 15, a game of tennis cost 10, and a game of badminton 7.50.
