City launches its own Olympic bid for 2012 (ic CheshireOnline)
AN OLYMPIC team could be hosted in Chester ahead of the 2012 London games. The organising committee is keen the regions should benefit from the games so the city council has been invited to develop a proposal for the city to serve as a training camp for one or more teams.
